Candace Parker Voted AP Female Athlete of Year For 2nd Time

For the second time, Lady Vol For Life, Candace Parker, has been named The Associated Press’ Female Athlete of the Year.  Parker, 35, helped the Chicago Sky win the franchise’s first WNBA championship.  Parker enrolled in the University of Tennessee in the Fall of 2004 and in 2008 led the Lady Vols to their second straight NCAA women’s title, the eighth championship for Tennessee under legendary coach Pat Summitt.
