A man was severely burned while drilling a fuel tank this week. Crossville Fire Chief Chris South said it was about 1:30 pm Monday when they got the call to respond to Stanley Street at Prentice. Upon arrival, they found a vehicle fully engulfed in flames and a man who had burns over 35% of his body. The victim was airlifted to the Nashville burn center. His name was not released.
