A Bradley County Sheriff’s Office K9 is still on a feeding tube months after he was shot while on duty. Due to his injuries, K9 Joker will remain on the feeding tube with his jaws muzzled and taped for the next 5 to 12 weeks. He will then be reevaluated to see if he is a viable candidate for jaw reconstructive surgery. Six juveniles were arrested in September for their involvement in shooting K9 Joker multiple times as police responded to an auto burglary in progress.
