With less than three weeks remaining until the Dec. 3 tnAchieves mentor application deadline, thousands of volunteer mentors are still needed to meet student demand statewide. Cumberland County still needs 11 mentors. Ten mentors are needed in Fentress County, 21 in Overton, 47 in Putnam, and 18 in White, just to name a few areas where at least 3,000 mentors are needed in Tennessee. Mentors must be 21 years of age and are subject to a background check. Those interested in applying can visit https://tnAchieves.org/mentors.
