A Knoxville woman has been charged after she falsely claimed she was carjacked, kidnapped and threatened with a knife. Crossville Police were called to the Cracker Barrel on Sunday, October 17, 2021 to a female causing a disturbance. After speaking with 40-year-old Dawn Marie Wall, police say she admitted to making up the carjacking story. She then told police she had been arguing with her boyfriend. Police say she appeared to have consumed an alcoholic beverage and had slurred speech. Wall was arrested for Filing A False Report.
