The Department of Health reports that children make up 40% of all COVID-19 cases in Tennessee. The state now has the worst rate for cumulative COVID-19 in children per capita in the country. According to the Academy of Pediatrics, Tennessee is reporting roughly 11,460 cases per 100,000 cases in children as of last week, the highest in all reporting states.
