Tennessee see has set a new record for COVID-19 hospitalizations at 3,338. The Tennessee Department of Health says 1 in every 85 Tennesseans is currently infected with the coronavirus, WSMV reports. On September 1 there were 943 people in the state’s Intensive Care Units, with 661 of them on ventilators. Seventy-three of those hospitalized are children with 7 of those on ventilators and 18 in ICUs. Last week almost 40% of all reported COVID-19 cases were among children ages 0-18 years.
