Cumberland County’s active COVID-19 cases fell by 20 on Friday, August 27, 2021 to 681. Total positive cases rose by 47 to 8,356. Deaths remained at 153.
Statewide, deaths from the coronavirus rose by 41 on Friday, bringing the toll to 13,345. Tennessee’s total positive cases went up by 7,635 for a total of 1,021,578.
According to the Covenant Health Dashboard, 100% of Cumberland Medical Center’s ICU patients are unvaccinated and the median age of those intensive care patients is 57.
