The man wanted in connection to the kidnapping of two Sam’s Club employees in Cookeville on Saturday has been arrested. Sunday evening (6/20/21) the Cookeville Police Department was notified by the Smithville Police Department that 29-year-old Tyler Justin Hall was taken into custody for outstanding warrants. Around 10:30pm Saturday, Hall allegedly forced two Cookeville Sam’s Club employees into the female victim’s car at gunpoint. Hall reportedly ordered the male to drive to White County. Near Walmart in White County, the male was able to wrestle the gun away from Hall. Hall then ran away from the scene. The next day, Police located Hall at a Smithville Dollar General. Hall was transported to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office for booking.
