Crossville Police were called to County Garage Road shortly after 7 Monday morning (6/14/21) in reference to a male running through yards, claiming that someone was trying to shoot him. Police caught up to the man who said he heard a gunshot from Cook Road. He claimed that the trailer he was staying at was also shot and that he heard a man’s voice that he recognized trying to come into the trailer. The victim said that’s when he fled out of the back of the trailer and started running away. Police say they found no evidence that the trailer had been shot. A neighbor said he heard something that sounded like a gunshot on from the area of County Garage Road but there were was no evidence or witnesses of a gunshot on County Garage Road.
