Strange Death of Purebred Huskey Reported To CCSO

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office was called to Ozone Access Road on Sunday (6/6/21) after the owner of a six-month-old purebred Huskey discovered the dog dead on the side of the road.   The dog had a 4-inch wide and 16-inch long patch of fur missing from its back that appeared to have been cut.  The dog’s skull was crushed on one side and a cat food bag was over the animal’s head.  The bag was placed into evidence.  The dog was valued at $1,500.
