Brentwood-based Christian diet guru Gwen Shamblin Lara, her husband Joe Lara and 5 others are feared dead after their plane crashed Saturday morning (5/29/21) into Percy Priest Lake in Smyrna. WTVF reports that Jennifer J. Martin, David L. Martin, Jessica Walters, Jonathan Walters, and Brandon Hannah were also on board. In a briefing Saturday night authorities said all plane occupants are presumed dead. Recovery efforts were still underway Sunday morning.
