Cumberland County Mayor Allen Foster has shared the following events that are scheduled for Memorial Day on Monday, May 31st. Please check for other activities in the community for honoring the men and women who died while serving our country.
-Lowe’s of Crossville – Veteran recognition ceremony at 8:00 AM, Lowe’s parking lot.
-VFW 75th Anniversary Open House- 1-3 PM open to Veterans and their spouses.
-Tim French – Hero’s recognition 9 AM to 4 PM at the Crossville Army National Guard. There will also be a photo and dog tag display of the 400 veterans and first responder hero’s that Mr. French walks for.
-Young Marines – Flag raising ceremony at the Fairfield Glade Community Center, flagpole at 9 AM.
– Elks – Free Hot Dog for veterans, at the War Memorial Park, Crossville, 11 AM to 1 PM.
