A Crossville woman faces multiple charges after she reportedly led police on a lengthy chase.  According to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy observed a Mazda 6 with an expired registration on Cox Valley Road and initiated a stop.  The driver, 22-year-old Gina Lee Gentry, reportedly refused to stop and kept driving, turning onto Highway 70 East and traveling over 75 mile per hour through Crab Orchard.  The pursuit proceeded to Ozone Road, Daysville Road and onto Westel Road.  Gentry then entered I-4o East Bound.  The THP deployed spike strips at the 346 mile marker and one tire was struck.  Gentry pulled off at the 347 Exit and re-entered the Interstate heading west where units were able to stop her vehicle.  Gentry was taken into custody and charged with Evading Arrest, Violation of the Registration Law and Tampering With Evidence.
