Persons and entities that are licensed to sell beer and alcoholic beverages for consumption on premises are now allowed to sell to-go orders of such beverages until July 1, 2023 in Tennessee if said beverages are accompanied by a food purchase and packaged in a secure container. These provisions will terminate on July 1, 2023, at which time the prior law in effect governing the sale of alcoholic beverages and beer in Tennessee will be restored.
