Crossville Police Looking For Attacker In Alleged Road Rage Incident

Crossville Police are looking for a man who attacked another man during an alleged road rage incident.  It happened around 1pm Thursday, April 22, 2021 in the area of Lantana Road Baptist Church.  The victim told police that a vehicle had passed him multiple times, got in front of him and kept hitting the brakes.  The victim said he passed the vehicle and then merged into the turning lane and the other vehicle also merged into the turning lane and struck him in the rear.  The victim said he got out of his vehicle to ask the other driver what his problem was and that is when the other driver reportedly assaulted him and knocked him unconscious.  The attacker then left the scene. The assailant is described as  a short, stocky, white male with facial hair and appeared to be in his late 40’s.  Police have tracked down a vehicle that matches the suspect’s vehicle to a residence in Crossville.  No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
