Human remains discovered in Putnam County earlier this month have been identified as Arnold “Chigger” Vaughn, Jr., of Monterey. Mr. Vaughn was reported missing in July of last year from his residence on Anderson Road in Monterey. His remains were discovered by a property owner on Anderson Road on Tuesday, April 13, 2021. The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office has not revealed a cause of death and Sheriff Eddie Farris said the investigation is ongoing.
