Cumberland County Mayor Allen Foster and Crossville Mayor James Mayberry have proclaimed this week (April 11-17) to “be National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week in Crossville and Cumberland County, in honor of the men and women whose diligence and professionalism keep our county, city and citizens safe! Thank you for all you do!” The lights of the Cumberland County Courthouse have been set to gold this week “to honor our dispatchers who are the backbone of communications for emergency services.”
