Nashville Man Charged With Stealing Truck From Eco Travel Plaza

Local law enforcement quickly caught a suspected truck thief Saturday afternoon.  According to reports, Crossville Police were called to the Eco Travel Plaza (ee-coe) on Genesis Road around 4:30pm after an employee’s truck was stolen from the parking lot.  The victim told police that just prior to the theft a strange acting man had been in the store.  A co-worker spotted the 1985 Ford F-150 exiting the parking lot and heading south on Genesis Road.  Just minutes after Dispatch put out a description of both the truck and the suspect a Deputy located the vehicle stopped at a strip mall on Miller Avenue.  Justin Garland, age 34, of Nashville, was arrested, transported to jail and charged with Theft Of A Motor Vehicle.  The victim was called to pick up his truck.
