A 6-year-old girl in Rutherford County was injured after an unattended candle caused a house fire. The little girl was asleep in a bedroom and woke up with fire at her feet. She was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor burns. Fire officials remind adults to never leave a room with a burning candle and always extinguish candles before going to bed.
