The Cumberland County Commission met in regular session on Tuesday evening. Commissioners approved several resolutions including an amendment to the General Purpose School Fund to accept an $80,000 EPA grant. The grant is part of the Environmental Protection Agency Diesel Emission Reduction Act. The additional funding will be used to partially fund a new bus. The commission also approved the appointment of Beth Wyatt-Davis to the Crossville-Cumberland County Convention and Visitors Bureau, while Sheryl Webb was appointed to the Cumberland County Health and Safety Standards Board.
