Four More Die From COVID-19 In Cumberland County; Death Toll At 91

COVID-19 has claimed four more lives in Cumberland County, bringing the death toll to 91 as of Tuesday, February 02, 2021.  Despite the dramatic one-day climb in deaths, positive cases went up by just 5 to 5,668 and active cases fell by 5 to 200.

Putnam County reports 159 COVID-19 deaths as of Tuesday, February 02, 2021.

Roane County reports 94 COVID-19 deaths as of Tuesday, February 02, 2021.

White County reports 55 COVID-19 deaths as of Tuesday, February 02, 2021.

Statewide, Tuesday saw a single-day increase of 147 COVID-19 deaths, bringing Tennessee’s coronavirus death count to 9,900.  New cases shot up by 2,173 in just one day for a total COVID-19 case count for Tennessee of 731,360.  There are 5,147 current hospitalizations and 688,963 inactive/recovered.
